Your shipping terms say that Media Mail is not guaranteed. Why is that?Updated 3 months ago

This service does not include any kind of insurance against loss or damage. Please select this service at your own risk. Loss and damage are rare, but if there is a problem with a Media Mail shipment, we regrettably have no recourse with the carrier. USPS also reserves the right to open and inspect Media Mail, and we cannot control the care with which they inspect and repackage everything. USPS does not offer support or compensation for lost or damaged Media Mail packages, which is why we do not guarantee it. Despite the small risk, many customers request and prefer this service due to its low cost. Problems are rare, but since there is no insurance, we cannot guarantee orders shipped with this service so refunds and replacements are generally not possible.
